Standard Specifications

High-speed steel offers excellent wear resistance and is composed of a high-alloy shell with nodular iron core. The high-alloy shell provides excellent wear resistance and minimal hardness drop from the barrel surface to the inner working layer.

Applications
  • Pre-slit and slit rolling stands of bar and wire rod mills
  • Finishing stands of bar and wire rod mills
  • Roughing and early finishing stands of hot strip mills
